'Baby Reindeer' Actress to Star in New Netflix Thriller 'Feral'

According to an exclusive report from Deadline, Jessica Gunning — the actress who broke out with the series Baby Reindeer — is returning to Netflix as one of the four leads in Feral, a new dark comedic thriller series based on Shirley Conran’s 1987 novel.

The story follows four very different women who must learn to survive on a deadly tropical island after their husbands, mining executives, are kidnapped. The question is: will they be able to set aside their differences, doubts, and vanity in order to stay alive?

According to sources, Gunning plays Annie, a quietly devoted wife who sacrificed her ambitions to raise four children under the thumb of her domineering husband, Duncan.

Jude Mack is the series creator, with direction by Emma Freeman and production from Oscar nominee Liza Marshall alongside Laurie Borg.
