Toby Kebbell Joins 'Dirty' Cast with 'The Odyssey' Actress

According to exclusive information from Variety, Toby Kebbell has joined Dirty, a new crime thriller series from Prime Video set in the United Kingdom and created by Matt Charman (writer of Bridge of Spies). The British actor joins Phoebe Dynevor and Samantha Morton, who were already confirmed for the project.

The story follows detective-in-training Eva Bennett (Dynevor), who returns to Manchester and joins a new homicide investigation led by her estranged mother, legendary Detective Chief Lois Mercer (Morton). 

As the two navigate their complicated relationship and buried truths come to light, Bennett begins to uncover Mercer’s crimes, forcing an impossible choice between justice and blood.

Kebbell will play Ashley Rutherford, a real estate mogul with a multimillion-dollar portfolio and Mercer’s partner in life and crime. Rutherford, however, has bigger ambitions and wants to use his money and influence to take control of the city’s corridors of power – the police, the government, and beyond.
