The wait for Grand Theft Auto VI is almost over, but players will need to reserve a good amount of storage space on their consoles to receive the new title from Rockstar Games.

According to information released by the company, pre-loading the game may take up to 212 GBm depending on the device.

Pre-download will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S starting November 10th. For the Sony console, pre-loading will begin at midnight local time in each region. For Xbox, the release will happen globally at 00:00 GMT.

The physical versions with the code on the box, in turn, will be available in stores from November 12th.

Rockstar recommends that players check the available space on their consoles before starting pre-loading to avoid problems during the process.

More information about the download can be found on the company's official support website.

Everything you need to know about GTA VI

Once again developed by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI is the first GTA in thirteen years, following the astronomical success of GTA V, released in 2013. The franchise is one of the most successful in video game history.

The story of GTA VI takes place in an open world based on Florida, in the United States. Its setting is Vice City, a fictional version of Miami that debuted in the first GTA and later got its own game with 2002’s GTA Vice City.

GTA VI arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. A PC version has not yet been announced.
