Jisoo, from Blackpink, confirmed that she drew inspiration from Ada Wong, from the Resident Evil franchise, for one of her looks in the music video for her solo single "Addicted." The song was released during Halloween weekend and featured the singer in various costumes.
At the beginning of the clip, Jisoo appears with a black bob haircut and a tight red dress, an outfit that immediately brings to mind the Capcom character, famous for wearing variations of this same style in virtually all of her appearances in games.

Fans noticed the resemblance and questioned the singer on her official app. "The red outfit and short hair look is totally Ada Wong from Resident Evil," wrote one user. Surprisingly, Jisoo confirmed the intention. "I love Biohazard (Resident Evil) so much, so I wanted to copy it," she replied.
The idol's passion for the horror franchise is nothing new. Earlier this year, she participated in the show Hot Ones and spoke about the subject, saying she was "addicted" to the games. "It's very fast-paced. Something comes out of nowhere, so you have to be quick, process everything and deal with the situation. That's why it manages to hold my attention, and time flies," she explained.
