FromSoftware's 'The Duskbloods' Delayed to 2027

The Duskbloods has been delayed until 2027. The announcement was made by the team itself on social media, explaining that although development is in the final stages of adjustments, the game needs more time before reaching the public. "We apologize to the players who are eagerly awaiting the release of this title and thank you for your patience and support," the studio stated. Check out the post below.

According to FromSoftware, the network test revealed player interest in the core concepts of the experience, including combat, strategic depth, and opportunities for expression during matches. Therefore, the team decided to use the additional time to make final adjustments to the rules and balance in order to refine these elements before launch.

Everything you need to know about The Duskbloods

Exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, The Duskbloods is a multiplayer action game directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, known for works such as Elden Ring and Dark Souls. The experience combines combat between players (PvP) and against enemies controlled by the game (PvE), with matches for up to eight participants. Players take on the role of Bloodsworn, beings who have acquired superhuman abilities through a special blood and who possess distinct weapons and powers.

The story takes place during the so-called Twilight of Humanity, a period in which Bloodsworn are summoned from different eras and places to fight for First Blood. With a dark setting and a focus on strategic combat, the title marks a new foray into multiplayer by FromSoftware.

Originally planned for 2026, The Duskbloods is now scheduled for release in 2027, with no specific date yet.
