'GTA 6' Reveals New Story Details; Learn Everything

During the Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look broadcast this Thursday (27) on Netflix, Rockstar Games revealed more details about the game's story, something that had been kept completely under wraps until now.

From the few scheduled activities shown, Jason and Lucia appear to be taking on various jobs for several key figures in Vice City, indicating that both are trying to make money however they can.

By all appearances, Lucia and Jason are in trouble and begin working for various different people across Vice City, making it difficult to discern the duo's motivations beyond simply making money.

In true Rockstar fashion, it is not yet possible to draw a logical line connecting these events; the footage offers only a brief glimpse of the various jobs the pair will undertake throughout the story. It's likely that they will make a considerable amount of enemies along the way and have doubts whether this lifestyle is worth pursuing much longer.

Once again developed by Rockstar Games, Grand Theft Auto VI is the first GTA in thirteen years, following the astronomical success of GTA V, released in 2013. The franchise is one of the most successful in video game history.

The story of GTA VI takes place in an open world based on Florida, in the United States. Its setting is Vice City, a fictional version of Miami that debuted in the first GTA and later got its own game with 2002’s GTA Vice City.

GTA VI arrives on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on November 19, 2026. A PC version has not yet been announced.
