Marvel Comics and the Rolling Stones have announced a partnership for the release of the band’s new album, Foreign Tongues. The record will have five special vinyl editions, each featuring a Marvel hero on the cover: Spider-Man, Captain America, Wolverine, Thor, and Hulk. It will be released on July 10 in the North American market.

Each version will feature exclusive artwork drawn by Marvel illustrators and will be pressed on red vinyl. It also includes a custom comic book insert in the style of What If..., reimagining the album cover as a comic book issue.

The artwork shows the heroes interacting with the band’s iconic logo: Hulk lifts a double-decker bus in London, Captain America crashes through a wall covered in posters, Spider-Man webs the outline of the mouth and tongue, Thor does the same with his lightning, and Wolverine appears in front of the symbol.

Foreign Tongues features appearances by Robert Smith (The Cure), Paul McCartney, Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Steve Winwood, and the late Charlie Watts. The band is not expected to tour in support of the album before 2027.
