Fantastic Four and Spider-Man are getting new horror-comic versions. Marvel Comics has announced the titles Midnight Fantastic Four and Midnight Spider-Man, which reimagine the heroes in dark and terrifying stories. The comics are part of the new Midnight imprint and hit stores in October. Check out the covers below!

The synopsis for Midnight Spider-Man has been revealed: the story follows a young man who is transformed into a human-spider hybrid after being used in Oscorp experiments, as the company seeks to uncover the secret of eternal life. When the corporation begins using the results of this mutation to create new human-animal hybrids, the protagonist is forced to embrace his terrifying new form in order to fight Oscorp itself.
Midnight Fantastic Four will be written by Benjamin Percy, known for his work on titles such as Wolverine and Ghost Rider, with art by Kev Walker. Midnight Spider-Man, meanwhile, will be written by Phillip Kennedy Johnson and illustrated by ScieTronc.
