When is John Green’s new book coming out?

The book’s U.S. release date was also announced, set for September 22. In Brazil, Hollywood, Ending is expected to arrive in October (exact date not specified) through Intrínseca, which had announced the publication in March.

What is Hollywood, Ending about?

Hollywood, Ending (still without a Portuguese title) follows Kai Laramie and Juniper Castillo, two actors cast to star in a biopic about the final year of artist Andy Warhol’s life.

Told from both points of view, the novel follows the actors from the early days of filming to the movie’s premiere. As the film begins to find success, their lives also start to unravel, in ways that are at once exciting, frightening, and painful.⁣

The book is being billed as Green’s first foray into adult fiction, after a career devoted to young adult literature. It is also the author’s first fiction book since Turtles All the Way Down (2017).
