'Stranger Things: Tales from '85' Season 2 Gets Release Date and First Images

Netflix has announced that the second season of Stranger Things: Tales from '85 premieres on September 17. The platform also released the first images from the new episodes. Check them out below.

The animated series picks up right after the events of the first season, released in April, with Eleven, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Max, and Nikki returning to their routine in Hawkins. However, new supernatural phenomena begin to emerge throughout the town.

Among these events are mysterious flowers, ghostly apparitions, and an infestation of creatures called hate sprites. The Hawkins Investigators Club (HIC) will have to uncover the source of these events before a new portal to the Upside Down is opened.

The new season will also take the characters to places not yet explored in the animated series, including a mine in Hawkins.
