'300'Could Get a Netflix Series With Zack Snyder Returning, Insider Says

300 may be getting a spinoff series on Netflix, with Zack Snyder reportedly being considered to direct the pilot episode. The information was shared by insider and critic John Rocha on social media, who says Netflix and Warner Bros. Television are working together on the project. The series has not yet received an official green light, but a writers’ room has reportedly already been assembled.

The information has still not been officially confirmed by Netflix or Warner Bros., so development remains at an early stage.

Released in 2006, 300 is a film directed by Snyder and starring Gerard Butler, following King Leonidas and his 300 Spartan warriors in the Battle of Thermopylae.
