Netflix Unveils 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' New Season Finale Trailer
The Colombian adaptation of the novel comes to an end next week
Netflix has released the trailer for the final episode of One Hundred Years of Solitude, which arrives in the catalog next Wednesday, August 26. The video previews the final events of the adaptation of Gabriel García Márquez’s classic and gets audiences ready for the conclusion of the Buendía family saga.
The second part follows the new generations of the Buendía family amid Macondo’s profound changes. After the armistice, peace remains out of reach, as political conflicts and outside interests reshape the town. Fernanda del Carpio’s arrival changes the family’s course, while José Arcadio Segundo connects Macondo to the outside world through the railroad and the banana company. Progress, however, ends up accelerating the town’s decline and bringing the family closer to the curse foretold by Úrsula Iguarán.
