Cristin Milioti Says She Probably Won't Return for 'Penguin' Season 2

In an exclusive interview with ComicBookMovie.com, actress Cristin Milioti confirmed that she will not be in a possible second season of The Penguin, the HBO series in which she played Sofia Falcone. The actress, who won an Emmy for her performance, spoke about the matter while promoting her new film, Buddy.

"Unfortunately, there's no chance you'll see me in it," said Milioti. "But I hope so. I mean, I would go back to that world in a heartbeat." Despite the confirmation, the actress made it clear that she is open to returning to the Batman universe in other future projects. 

At the end of the first season, Sofia was sent back to Arkham after receiving a letter from her half-sister Selina Kyle (Zoë Kravitz). The future of the series, however, is still uncertain.

The sequel, directed by Matt Reeves, is already filming in Glasgow, Scotland, but Milioti is also not expected to appear in the feature.
