Just released on Netflix, season 2 of MobLand, Guy Ritchie’s series, lost around 500,000 viewers in the United Kingdom compared to the premiere of the first season. The first episode of the new season was watched by 3 million people in its first seven days, versus the 3.5 million recorded by the previous season’s premiere in March 2024.
The figures were released by Overnights.tv, using data from Barb, the United Kingdom’s official TV ratings body. The drop also shows up in Netflix’s own data. MobLand racked up 6.7 million views in its first four days and ranked third among the platform’s most-watched English-language TV series during the period from August 31 to September 6, nearly 50% below Season 1’s premiere over the same span.
In the new episodes, Eddie (Theo James) decides to expand his empire beyond the borders of the United Kingdom. His plans, however, put him on a collision course with the powerful Italian mafia.
Both seasons of The MobLand are available on Netflix. A third season has also already been confirmed, but it still does not have a premiere date.
