'Spider-Man' Canceled Sinister Six Film Gets Never-Seen-Before Concept Art

The canceled Sinister Six movie, which would have been part of Sony’s Spider-Man universe, has received never-before-seen concept art. Check it out below!

Victor Martinez, the artist behind the project, shared the images on social media and suggested they belong to the feature film that never saw the light of day.

"Sharing with you some concept art I did for an unmade/untitled Spider-Man film from years ago. This would've been a fun one with lots of villains... 6 to be exact!... If you know, you know" the artist wrote, referring to the Sinister Six.

The project was reportedly developed during Andrew Garfield’s time as Spider-Man, with Drew Goddard attached to direct and write. The idea was to tell the story from the villains’ own point of view, exploring a more complex approach than the traditional hero-versus-villains conflict.

The film was ultimately canceled after Sony struck its historic deal with Marvel Studios to bring Spider-Man into the MCU, kicking off the era led by Tom Holland.
