New 'Primetime' Trailer Shows Robert Pattinson as a Pedophile Hunter; Watch Here

A A24 has released a new trailer for Primetime, a crime thriller starring Robert Pattinson that will be part of the official competition at the Venice Film Festival.

In the film, directed by Lance Oppenheim, Pattinson plays Chris Hansen, host of the investigative show To Catch a Predator, which became known for conducting sting operations to lure and arrest suspects accused of crimes against children. The show that inspired the production aired between 2004 and 2007 and ended up surrounded by controversy after a prosecutor died by suicide during an operation, leading to its cancellation in 2008.

Primetime opens in U.S. theaters on September 25.
