Charles Melton in Talks to Play Kakashi in the 'Naruto' Live-Action
The production will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, from Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Speculated to be the future Beast in the new X-Men movie, actor Charles Melton may also be heading to another live-action adaptation. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Melton is in talks to play Kakashi in the live-action adaptation of Naruto, which will be directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Spider-Man: Brand New Day).
It’s worth noting that Charles Melton is nominated for an Emmy for his role in the second season of Beef on Netflix, and was one of the highlights of May December, alongside Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman.
Production on the live-action recently began, and the film is looking for actors around the world to play the ninjas of the Hidden Leaf Village.
