Previously slated to premiere this year, Saturn Return, directed by Greg Kwedar (Train Dreams), has been delayed by Netflix to 2027. With this decision, the company confirms Variety's report, which first indicated that the feature would no longer be released this year. According to the magazine, Saturn Return was postponed because the streamer is aiming for a March premiere at South by Southwest (SXSW) in Austin before it arrives on the platform.
