According to exclusive information from Deadline, Walton Goggins has joined the cast of Miami Vice '85, a Universal film directed by Joseph Kosinski.
Unconfirmed sources indicate that Goggins will play one of the henchmen of the cartel boss played by Leguizamo. The director wanted the actor for the role from the beginning, but his schedule with the third season of Fallout had to be adjusted before the deal was finalized last week.

The new Universal film will be shot for IMAX and is scheduled for release in theaters on May 19, 2028.
