Carrie Coon Joins Greta Lee and Rebecca Ferguson in 'Honeymoon/Funeral'

According to exclusive information from Deadline, Carrie Coon (The White Lotus) has joined Rebecca Ferguson and Greta Lee in the romantic comedy Honeymoon/Funeral. The film is produced by MRC and directed by Nahnatchka Khan, from a screenplay by Julia Bicknell. Filming is continuing in London.

Ferguson and Lee play two women who meet on a flight from Los Angeles to London. One of them is traveling alone on her honeymoon after being left at the altar by her girlfriend, while the other is returning home for her mother’s funeral. The two end up spending the week together.

Coon, a Golden Globe, Emmy, and Tony nominee, will play Sarah, the ex-fiancée of Lee’s character. The actress recently earned praise at the Telluride Festival for her work in The Liberation.

The film is produced by Jennifer Carreras and Nahnatchka Khan under their production company Fierce Baby, in addition to Julia Bicknell. FilmNation is handling sales at the Toronto Festival market.
