Navier (Shin Min-a), the perfect empress in a fantasy world, sees her life fall apart when her husband (Ju Ji-hoon, from The Trauma Code) returns to the palace with a mistress (Lee Se-young, from The Red Sleeve) and demands a divorce.

Determined not to let the emperor completely ruin her reputation, Navier agrees to the request — but in return, she demands to marry a rival prince (Lee Kong-suk, from Big Mouth).

The series is written by Yeoh Ge-ena (The Uncanny Counter) and Hyun Choong-yeol, and directed by Cho Suwon (Today's Webtoon).

The Divorced Empress premieres later in 2026 on Disney+, but an exact release date has not yet been announced.
