Unless it becomes a huge ratings phenomenon, no — and even if it does turn out to be a hit, South Korean broadcasters and creators often prefer to leave things as they are. So it’s best to keep expectations in check and view Dream to You as a miniseries.

What is Dream to You about?

The story of Dream to You follows Woo Soo-bin (Hwang), a film director who found success and international awards with his debut movie. He returns to South Korea victorious, but all he wants is to reunite with Joo Yi-tae (Hyeri), the love of his youth who inspired his feature film.

In addition to the leads, Dream to You also features Baek Sung-chul (Brewing Love) as an actor searching for his breakout role, and Lee Yul-eum (Nevertheless) as a former child star who just wants to live a normal life.

Dream to You is directed by Yoo Seon-dong (The Uncanny Counter), with a script by newcomer Rachel Eun-bea Chung.
