Will A Shop for Killers get a third season?

Considering that the renewal for a second season has already happened, going against the usual trend for South Korean TV, anything is possible, but nothing has been confirmed yet. The success of A Shop for Killers is already well established, and Disney+ may eventually invest in more stories set in this universe.

What is A Shop for Killers about?

Released in 2024, the first season of A Shop for Killers introduced us to Jeong Ji-an, who was raised by her uncle, the mysterious Jeong Ji-man, after her parents died.

Trained in survival and combat techniques from a young age, Ji-an discovers after her uncle’s death that he was actually the manager of a store specializing in supplying equipment for hitmen — and that now she is the target of all the enemies he made over the years.

In addition to Lee Dong-wook as Jeong Ji-man and Kim Hye-jun (Cashero) as Jeong Ji-an, returning for the new season are Jo Han-sun as the villain Bale, Geum Hae-na as the mercenary Min-hye, Lee Tae-young as the manager of the mall where the store operates, and Kim Min as the protagonist’s fight instructor.

Hyun-ri (Atom's Last Shot), Jung Yun-ha (The Trunk) and Okada Masaki (Drive My Car) round out the second season’s cast. Lee Kwon returns as writer and director, joined once again by his regular writing collaborator, Ji Ho-jin.
