'K-Pop Demon Hunters' to Release Art Book with Over 500 Illustrations
Deluxe edition brings together concept art, character designs, and behind-the-scenes material from the Netflix animation.

The world of K-Pop Demon Hunters is still very much alive. The Netflix phenomenon is getting an official art book next month. Titled The Art of KPop Demon Hunters: Platinum Edition, the release hits bookstores on September 8, featuring more than 500 pieces of concept art, character studies, production illustrations, and final designs showing how the animation came to life. Written by Tracey Miller-Zarneke, the 144-page book brings together behind-the-scenes materials, including references that inspired the film’s look, such as Korean mythology and shamanism, real K-pop groups, as well as influences from manhwa and anime. The deluxe hardcover edition will also feature special finishing touches, including holographic edges inspired by the Honmoon, the supernatural barrier protected by Huntr/x throughout the story.

The plot of K-Pop Demon Hunters follows HUNTR/X as they split their time between performing for fans and hunting demons - the problem is that now the villains have also decided to form a K-pop group (the Saja Boys) to compete with them for the public’s adoration.
In the English voice cast, Ejae sings as Rumi, leader of HUNTR/X, while Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami round out the group as Mira and Zoey, respectively. They share the roles with actresses Arden Cho (Rumi), May Hong (Mira), and Ji-young Yoo (Zoey), who provide the characters’ speaking voices.
Directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, K-Pop Demon Hunters also features names like Ahn Hyo-seop (Jinu), Yunjin Kim (Celine), Ken Jeong (Bobby), Lee Byung-hun (Gwi-ma), and Daniel Dae Kim (Healer Han) in its English voice cast.
The movie became a huge success on Netflix after its release, eventually reaching the top of the platform’s all-time most-watched feature films list — and later, its most-watched content overall. "Golden," "Your Idol," "Soda Pop," and other songs from the soundtrack landed on charts in the U.S. and around the world.
K-Pop Demon Hunters also proved to be an awards season favorite, winning trophies at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, the 2026 Golden Globes, and the 2026 Oscars.
