YouTube Premium to Add Peacock With New Subscription Bundle

YouTube and NBCUniversal have signed a new agreement that will include Peacock content in a new subscription bundle for YouTube Premium. According to a Variety report, the addition will be exclusively available to U.S. costumers and will launch in the first months of 2027. 

While this new bundle will be a separate offer, its price hasn't been announced yet. YouTube, however, has confirmed that the core Premium subscription won't suffer price hikes: " “We will continue to introduce additional offers and options that allow subscribers to easily customize their viewing preferences", said a YouTube spokesperson for Variety. 

Additionally, Peacock Premium add-ons for YouTube Primetime Channels starting $10.99 a month for the basic plan and $16.99 a month for the Premium Plus version.

NBCUniversal and Google have are constantly expanding their multi-year deal. In addition to the Peacock news, NBC Sports will start to produce sporting transmissions alongside Google's main video platform, focusing on delivering free content to "millions" worldwide. 

"YouTube Premium brings your favorite creators, artists and cultural moments together uninterrupted, and now, we’re pairing that ultimate viewing experience with Peacock’s expansive lineup of live sports like Sunday Night Football and the NBA, blockbuster Universal movies, and original series", said CEO Neal Mohan in a statement read by Variety.
