'The Vampire Lestat' Releases Album 'The Failures'; Listen

Interview with the Vampire is inspired by the books of Anne Rice, collectively known as The Vampire Chronicles. The first two seasons adapted the book of the same name, centered on the intertwined journeys of the vampires Lestat (Sam Reid) and Louis (Jacob Anderson).

The third season adapts the book The Vampire Lestat, the second in The Vampire Chronicles, which begins with the character forming a band in the 1980s and becoming a massive rock star — all as a way to get revenge on Louis, who told the pair’s story in a book co-written with journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).

The series is also part of the Immortal Universe, a franchise made up of Mayfair Witches and Talamasca: The Secret Order, both based on the author’s works.

The first two seasons of Interview with the Vampire are already available on Netflix and Prime Video. The third season, titled The Vampire Lestat, arrived on AMC+ on June 7. Meanwhile, Talamasca and Mayfair Witches can be watched at Prime Video or or AMC+.
