DC Series 'Lanterns' Gets a New Trailer Revealing Sinestro at SDCC; Watch

During the Lanterns panel at SDCC this Friday (24), a new trailer was unveiled for the highly anticipated DC series starring Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler. Check it out above. 

The series follows a young John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) and a veteran Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) as they become entangled in a dark, earthbound mystery while investigating a murder in the heart of the U.S. It is speculated that the victim will be a member of the Green Lantern Corps, a kind of intergalactic police force, and that this is how Stewart will receive the ring that gives members of the group the power to create objects made of green light. 

Lanterns premieres on August 16 on HBO and HBO Max.
