Bloys explained that the goal is to maintain HBO's excellence while preserving the momentum of both platforms until they are ready to be unified. He also highlighted the importance of clearly defining team responsibilities so that the creative market knows where each type of project resides.

HBO's leadership remains intact. Francesca Orsi continues to head drama series and films, Amy Gravitt comedy, Nina Rosenstein late-night programming and specials, and Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller documentaries. Glenn Whitehead has been promoted to president and chief operating officer of HBO and Paramount+, overseeing business, production, and operations, as well as guiding artificial intelligence initiatives.

Wiseman joined Paramount+ after Skydance acquired Paramount in 2025. During her tenure, she approved major projects such as the legal thriller Discretion , starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning , The Best of Us with Jeremy Strong , Ascent with Viola Davis , and Fear Not with Anne Hathaway . She was also responsible for overseeing the voluminous production of Taylor Sheridan and 101 Studios.

In her own farewell note, Wiseman thanked the team and listed the results of the past year. She cited the performance of Landman , which remained in Nielsen's Top 10 original series for 13 consecutive weeks, the record-breaking viewership of Dutton Ranch, and the 62% growth in Lioness's third season compared to the previous one. The executive also highlighted the approval of more than 40 new and returning series during her tenure.

What changes with the merger between Warner and Paramount?

Skydance was officially formed this Tuesday (6), after the completion of the merger between Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery. In the memorandum, Ellison and Kreiz stated that the new company intends to combine the resources, brands and talents of the two groups to create a media and entertainment company with greater scale and ability to compete in the market.

The executives also highlighted that the goal is not only to expand the number of productions, brands, or intellectual properties, but to integrate the structures of the two companies. The message, titled "Day 1," marks the start of Skydance's operations after the completion of the agreement.
