Crystal Lake follows the events that take place before the story fans already know. The series will show Pamela’s journey and Jason’s early years, exploring the relationship between the two before she became the killer introduced in the original film. The eight-episode A24 production follows Pam Voorhees (Linda Cardellini), a single mother who cannot overcome the tragic death of her son Jason, who drowned in the town’s lake nearly a year ago. 

The series premieres on October 16 via Peacock.
