Apple TV Leads the 2026 Emmys As the Most Awarded Streaming Service

Apple TV+ leads as the streaming service with the most wins at the 2026 Emmy Awards. The result was determined after the final awards ceremony held this Monday (14). Check out the list of winners here.

The platform, which had accumulated 19 awards, received 23 more last night, totaling 42 wins. Apple TV would have 43 if a win in the commercial category, a separate criterion in the survey, were also counted.

Next, HBO Max had 16 awards before the ceremony, where it received 12 more statuettes, totaling 28 wins. Following that, Netflix secured 18 awards throughout the process. Finally, Spider-Noir secured five wins for Prime Video.

The big winners of the night were The Pitt, which won the award for Best Drama Series, and Widow's Bay, which took home the award for Best Comedy Series. DTF St. Louis completed the top three with a win in the Best Limited Series or TV Movie category.

Favorites Noah Wyle and Matthew Rhys won Best Actor in a Drama Series and Best Actor in a Comedy Series, respectively. The same is true for Jean Smart, who won the Best Actress in a Comedy Series award for the fifth time with Hacks, achieving a historic record.

Among the most shocking decisions of the Academy Awards is the defeat of Harrison Ford , the favorite to win the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series award for Telling the Truth. He was defeated by Stephen Root, also from Widow's Bay. Hacks not winning in the main comedy category is also surprising, as it would have closed its run with a victory for its fifth and final season.

In the limited series category, DTF St. Louis dominated the competition with seven awards in total. The HBO Max production surpassed the favorite Beef, which was coming on strong with its second season after the first year was one of the highlights of the 2022 edition.
