Cristiano Ronaldo to Produce Series About Sports Agent with 'Billions' Actor

After a disappointing defeat at the World Cup, Cristiano Ronaldo is already focused on a new challenge — one that has nothing to do with the pitch. According to The Sun, he will produce and star in Day 1s, his first drama series, starring Damian Lewis (Billions) and directed by Matthew Vaughn, the filmmaker behind the Kingsman franchise.

The production will follow the fictional story of Stanley Dalton, a British football agent. Filming has already begun in London, and the series will also feature special appearances by major sports stars such as Thierry Henry, as well as rapper Dave.

Day 1s will be the first television project from UR•Marv Studios, the production company created by Cristiano Ronaldo in partnership with Matthew Vaughn. Before the series, the studio had already completed two independently financed sports films.
