The first trailer for the 13th season of American Horror Story has been released, and the video leans on a figure well known to fans of the franchise: Twisty the Clown, played by John Carroll Lynch. The preview also features the returns of Jessica Lange as Constance Langdon, Emma Roberts as Madison Montgomery, Angela Bassett as Marie Laveau, Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode, and Evan Peters as Kai Anderson, along with other familiar faces from the series.

The new installment will have 13 half-hour episodes and premieres on September 24 on Hulu and FX, with new episodes released weekly through October 29.
