'The Mummy 4' Gets Teaser With Actor From Original Film; Watch Here

In a post on Instagram, Oded Fehr, who played Ardeth Bay in The Mummy, shared a video this Tuesday (04) confirming his return for The Mummy 4.
In the video, the actor shows a scene from the film, then appears with his current look at 55 years old, followed by the character’s classic tattoo.

The Mummy 4 marks the return of Rachel Weisz, John Hannah and Brendan Fraser to the franchise. Filming was set to begin in August.
Sean Daniel, who produced the original films, is returning to produce this new feature. The movie is not being described as a reboot, but rather as a continuation of the franchise that will ignore the events of the third film, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.
The Mummy franchise, which revitalized Universal’s monster, had its first film in 1999, grossing $422.5 million, creating a successful franchise and turning Fraser into one of the era’s leading actors.
The Mummy 4 still does not have a release date.
