'The Housemaid’s Secret' Adds 'Hairspray' Actress to Cast
The film arrives in theaters in 2027.
The Housemaid's Secret, sequel to The Housemaid, has added a new name to the cast. In addition to Paul Anthony Kelly and Kirsten Dunst, actress Brittany Snow, known for Hairspray and Pitch Perfect, will also appear in the production. The information comes from The Hollywood Reporter.
The actress's role has not been revealed, but more information about the sequel should be announced soon.

Sydney Sweeney is confirmed to return as Millie, while Michele Morrone will also be back as Enzo. They will be joined by Kirsten Dunst. According to director Paul Feig, the sequel's script has already been turned in, and filming is expected to begin in the Northern Hemisphere fall, which starts in September and runs through December.
The Housemaid's Secret will adapt the second book in the bestselling series by Freida McFadden, The Housemaid's Secret. In it, Millie (Sweeney) goes back to work as a housemaid, this time for a woman she is never allowed to see. Until she discovers the truth behind the locked door, which threatens to expose secrets far darker than her own.
The film hits theaters on December 17, 2027.
