'Extraction 3' to Star Ma Dong-seok, From 'Eternals' and 'The Roundup'

Extraction 3, the continuation of Netflix's most popular action franchise, has added a Korean star to its cast. Ma Dong-seok, also known as Don Lee, who already plays the lead in the spin-off Tygo, has also been confirmed for the third film in the main franchise. He stars alongside Chris Hemsworth, Idris Elba, Golshifteh Farahani, Pierce Brosnan, Joe Taslim, Chi Lewis-Parry and Sienna Agudong. Filming began this month. 

Ma Dong-seok will once again play the mercenary Tygo, a character who will be introduced in the franchise's spin-off film. In Extraction 3, however, details about his role and his connection to Tyler Rake, the protagonist played by Hemsworth, have not yet been revealed.

Sam Hargrave, director of the previous two films, returns to helm the new feature, while Joe Russo and David Weil are credited as screenwriters.

Extraction 3 does not yet have a release date.
