Vin Diesel Confirms 'Fast Forever' Filming Date

Star Vin Diesel used the 25th anniversary screening of Fast & Furious to share an update on the status of the franchise’s final film. In an interview with Variety, the actor revealed that filming for Fast Forever made by the studio.

The actor also said that the project went through four writing teams and four years of development before reaching a version he considered worthy of ending the story. According to him, reading the final script was so emotional that it brought him to tears: “When I read the script a few weeks ago, I cried.”

Fast & Furious Forever is set to premiere on March 17, 2028. The film will be directed by Louis Leterrier and will mark the end of the main franchise, which has already grossed around $7.3 billion at the worldwide box office.
