'Off Campus' Lead Ella Bright to Star in Comedy with Mason Thames

Ella Bright , star of Off Campus , has found her next project. According to exclusive information from Deadline , the actress will be the female lead in Narcs, a new coming-of-age comedy from Sony, alongside Mason Thames (The Black Phone).

The film marks Bright's first major role in a studio production. The story of Narcs is still being kept secret, but the film will be directed by John Phillips, screenwriter of comedies such as The Second Mother, Good Boys, and Jackass Grandpa.

The screenplay was written by Jordan and Justin Shipley, creators of the series Wrecked , and received a new version written by Phillips and Gene Stupnitsky. Stupnitsky also produces the film through Big Name Entertainment.

Bright became known for playing Hannah Wells, the protagonist of the first season of Off Campus. In the series, she formed the main couple with Garrett Graham, played by Belmont Cameli.
