'The Legend of Zelda' Live-Action Rumor Suggests First Trailer Release Date

A new rumor suggests that the first trailer for the live-action The Legend of Zelda may be shown in theaters alongside The Social Reckoning, Sony's new film. The information surfaced after a post from the account @iNCREDiPiNOY, which claims the preview will be shown before the sequel to The Social Network, which premieres in theaters on October 23. 

This information, however, has yet to be officially confirmed. 

The rumor surfaced just days after Bo Bragason, who plays Princess Zelda, posted an enigmatic message on social media saying she was "excited for tomorrow." The post fueled speculation about possible news related to the film, but there have been no revelations so far.

The live-action The Legend of Zelda is directed by Wes Ball (Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes). Officially confirmed cast members include Bo Bragason as Princess Zelda and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as the warrior Link. Uli Latukefu will play the villain Ganondorf. The film is scheduled to premiere on April 30, 2027.
