'Avengers: Endgame Encore': What's Changed? Discover All the New Scenes

Avengers: Endgame Encore, the re-release of Avengers: Endgame that comes with new scenes to set the stage for Avengers: Doomsday, has finally arrived in cinemas. In addition to the original three hours, the film also features never-before-seen sequences to connect the stories.

In addition to containing post-credits scenes (the original version ended without connecting to other films), the movie alters the ending to pave the way for the arrival of Doctor Doom. Find out below what changes:

What's new in Endgame Encore?

The most striking change is in the film's final scene, which in Endgame showed Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) going back in time to finally be with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). In the original version, the film ends with a dance between the two, but in Encore this dance is interrupted by someone ringing the doorbell. Steve hides and Peggy opens the door, encountering Loki (Tom Hiddleston), after the events of the second season of the series. They exchange a serious look and the scene ends.

Post-credits scene

Unlike the original version, Endgame Encore contains not one, but two post-credits scenes. The first shows the AVT office, initially introduced in the Loki series. Mobius (Owen Wilson), OB (Ke Huy Quan), and Ms. Minutes (Tara Strong) are having a normal workday when the system shows that two Earths are incursing each other, firing missiles at one another to try and destroy the other planet before a collision occurs. This is Universe 10005, which is from the Fox X-Men, and Universe 1127. Moments later, they register 300 incursions. Before they can react, the number jumps to 3000. The scene concludes with OB saying: "the multiverse has collapsed."

In the second post-credits scene, we find Mark Ruffalo's Dr. Bruce Banner in a secret prison more than 2km below the surface, following the events of Spider-Man: Brand New Day . Visibly disturbed by his first incident in years, he is recording a scientist's diary documenting his experiments to try and cure his transformation into the Hulk once and for all.

That's when Robert Downey Jr. 's Doctor Doom appears. We don't see him, but the green energy of his magic infects the scene. Banner yells , "What are you doing here?" and Doom replies, "I've come to collect you, Dr. Banner." We hear Banner transforming into the Hulk and a battle begins. At the end, the camera drops and we see Doctor Doom's runes on the walls and floor of the place. Banner and Doom are no longer there. They seem to have been transported.
