'Avengers' and 'Primetime' to Dominate U.S. Box Office This Weekend

The re-release of Avengers: Endgame and the premiere of Primetime , starring Robert Pattinson  are expected to dominate the United States' box office, according to yesterday's figures. 

The previews for Avengers: Endgame grossed $3.8 million, surpassing the $3.4 million of the previews for Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith in its re-release last year.

Meanwhile, Primetime grossed a solid $2.7 million in 2,859 theaters, $200,000 less than the previews for Civil War (2024), starring Wagner Moura , which had a $25.5 million opening. If the interest continues, both films are set to finish their premiere weekend with a positive outcome and a tendency to attract moviegoers the next week.
