Novel set in the world of Formula 1 embraces the "enemies-to-lovers" style
Amazon MGM has acquired the rights to Throttled, the first book in the Dirty Air racing series, written by Lauren Asher. The adaptation will star Josh Heuston, known for Off Campus, who will play the main romantic interest in the plot. The film will be directed by Nzingha Stewart and written by Melissa Osborne.
The story follows an ambitious young woman who joins her brother on the racing circuit and ends up involved in a forbidden romance with his teammate - precisely his fiercest and most ruthless rival, played by Heuston.
