Disney released a new poster for Cars, to celebrate the re-release of the feature film this Monday (24), which will mark its 20th anniversary in 2026.
Released in 2006 by Pixar, the film directed by John Lasseter and starring Owen Wilson as the voice of Lightning McQueen grossed more than $462 million worldwide and was nominated for major awards, including the Oscars, Annie Awards, and the Golden Globes.

The story follows the young racer who, after an unexpected detour on the historic Route 66, learns valuable lessons about friendship and community alongside characters like Mater and Doc Hudson.
The Cars franchise is available on Disney+ and will release a new series in 2027, titled Cars: Lightning Racers.
