Netflix Confirms Sequel to French Action Film 'Ad Vitam'

At the beginning of 2025, Netflix released a French action movie called Ad Vitam, which later became one of its most-watched titles of all time, as mentioned above. Given its success, a sequel has just been announced more than a year after its release.

Filming has already begun, and the sequel currently has the working title of Ad Vitam Eternam. The new movie brings actor Guillaume Canet back in the role of former elite agent Franck Lazareff. The story picks up immediately after the final events of the first film, when the character is released from prison after his wife gathers evidence proving he was not involved in the conspiracy.

Ludovic Colbeau-Justin takes over as director, replacing Rodolphe Lauga, who helmed the first film.

There is still no release date set for the sequel.
