Bill Skarsgard Gets Cast in 'Physint', Kojima's Next Big Game; Watch Teaser Here

Just a few weeks after Physint was abandoned by PlayStation and rescued by Xbox, the spiritual successor to Metal Gear Solid from director Hideo Kojima received several new updates today during the Tokyo Game Show 2026.

The main one was the cast reveal, which came via the behind-the-scenes video above (around 1:45. Before that, the focus is on Kojima's other partnership with Xbox: OD-KNOCK). Joining the cast already formed by Charlee Fraser (Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga), Don Lee (Ethermond) and Minami Hamabe (Godzilla Minus One) is Bill Skarsgard, who plays Pennywise in the It franchise.

A teaser poster for the game was also revealed, promising the start of a new Cold War. Check it out below.

Conceived by Kojima as a spiritual successor to his legendary Metal Gear Solid franchise, Physint will be an espionage and action game. In addition to the game, multimedia adaptations such as films and series are also planned for the franchise.
