Two long-lost Star Wars games made a grand appearance in a commemorative video from Lucasfilm , which compiles scenes from the company's major game projects. Star Wars Eclipse and the remake of Knights of the Old Republic, both without news for quite some time, appear in the collection of clips, giving some hope to fans.

Eclipse is being developed by Quantic Dream , a studio that made a name for itself with narrative experiences like Detroit: Become Human . Its last official appearance was almost a year ago, when the developer announced that the game was still in production.

The KOTOR remake, on the other hand, has had more recent news. Earlier this year, Saber Interactive stated that development on the project had to be restarted, but that it is now progressing well and meeting the established milestones.

Although the titles appeared in the Lucasfilm video, it's easier to believe that this was more of a coincidence than a nod to the fanbase. For now, both games remain without a concrete release date, and it's not an exaggeration to question whether either of them will actually see the light of day.
