'Fortnite' Halloween Event Gets Trailer With 'Obsession', 'FNAF' and More

Fortnite has released the cinematic trailer for Fortnitemares 2026, which previews the previously announced Halloween event attractions. The video shows references to Five Nights at Freddy’s and A Nightmare on Elm Street, including Freddy Fazbear and Freddy Krueger , as well as other spooky surprises. Fortnitemares officially begins on October 1st.

But it's the appearance of One Wish Willow, the famous willow tree from Obsession, that's drawing the public's attention. The element is central to Curry Barker's horror film, in which a wish made from the object triggers supernatural consequences.

This collaboration between the film and Fortnite was highly anticipated by fans. Now, the trailer indicates that this crossover will finally happen at Fortnitemares 2026.
