'Star Wars Zero Company' Surpasses 1 Million Copies Sold

Apparently, Star Wars Zero Company is a sales success: the game has surpassed 1 million copies sold, according to statistics compiled by Alinea. Generally, almost 70% of these units were purchased by PC gamers; the PS5 accounts for 20%, while the Xbox represents 10%.

The game also received a good reception from the public and critics, displaying "Very Positive" reviews on Steam. On Metacritic, the game has a score of 85 after 64 press reviews.

Ironically, just before its release, most of the Zero Company developers were fired from the Bit Reactor studio without receiving any compensation. The reason given at the time was a lack of funds, and also an alleged dispute between the developers' partners.

Considering the trend of bad news related to layoffs in the industry, it's unlikely that the former Bit Reactor employees will have a happy ending. Still, the studio has stated its intention to rehire the team; we're hoping that promise will be kept.
