During Gen Con, Wizards of the Coast officially announced the Dungeons & Dragons expansion with World of Warcraft, titled D&D: Worldcraft. The expansion book will be accompanied by the Icecrown Citadel Map Pack, which takes characters from level 16 to 20.

The collaboration, created in partnership with Blizzard, is the first D&D expansion under the Universes Beyond banner, which brings together third-party franchises with the classic tabletop RPG.

The material features elements from every era of Azeroth and includes details on all playable races and classes from WoW (including the Pandaren), along with 26 magic items, seven iconic dungeons, 30 bosses with stats, more than 60 new spells, more than 50 new monsters, 23 factions with rewards, professions, mounts, companion creatures, and much more.

"With Universes Beyond, we're expanding Dungeons & Dragons into even more worlds we love, like World of Warcraft", said Dan Ayoub, head of the D&D franchise at Wizards of the Coast. The expansion arrives after a two-decade hiatus without an official Warcraft tabletop RPG.

Pre-orders for D&D: World of Warcraft are now available, with early access starting on November 3. The wide release arrives on November 17 as part of D&D's Season of Champions season.
