During a panel at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), it was confirmed that Season 3 of X-Men '97 will feature the Brotherhood of Mutants. The news was backed up by a clip showing the villains facing off against a Sentinel.
For now, the mutants Pyro, Toad, Avalanche, and Blob have been confirmed as part of the team. Spark, who would be a new addition to the series, also appeared in the scene. The group is usually portrayed as a team of evil mutants, normally led by Magneto, that stands against the X-Men.
The presentation also confirmed that Season 4 of X-Men '97 — which, it's worth noting, is still airing its second season on Disney+ — is already in production.
For now, the third season of X-Men '97 is slated for 2027, but no specific release date has been announced.
