'The Testaments' Season 2 Casts Deborah Ann Woll and Luke Kirby

The second season of The Testaments will feature two new faces in its cast. They are Deborah Ann Woll (Daredevil, True Blood) and Luke Kirby (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel).

Woll plays Sylvia, whose work as a seamstress keeps her in close proximity to the wives and daughters of the Commanders of Gilead. Kirby will play Commander Fletcher, a man of literal minds who lives reclusively on a farm in one of Gilead's Colonies, where his eccentricities have made it difficult for him to find a wife.

Previously, the debut of Haley Wong, who was also announced for the new season, was also confirmed. The actress will play Prudence, a devoted and pregnant wife who will make room for joy, even if it means risking everything.

The plot follows Agnes and Daisy, young people living in Gilead who end up becoming important players in changing the course of the totalitarian regime originally presented in The Handmaid's Tale.

The main cast includes Chase Infiniti, Lucy Hallida, and Ann Dowd. Elisabeth Moss also returned in a special appearance as June Osborn.

The series is based on the novel by Margaret Atwood and is available on Hulu, as are all seasons of The Handmaid's Tale.
